Chris Turner “Come Off It” Live In Oakland

I recorded this a little over a week ago at Vitus in Oakland. New Yorker Chris Turner was on point in his hometown, and we all had a wonderful time in quite the intimate setting. Chris was backed by SF’s powerhouse rhythm section The Park, and Steve Wyreman.

Not only is Chris a solo artist, he sings backup vocals for Bilal Oliver, and is part of a NYC group ERIMAJ.

This show was put on by my mellow my mans, Fred Shavies of 3680 Photography, Martin Boston, and Kola Shoba.
